At a glance

COMeSafety2 establishes and maintains the link with cooperative ITS Field Operational Test (FOT) projects realised in Europe at National level and within the FP7 framework program of the European Commission. Moreover, COMeSafety2  builds-up partnerships with other world regions which are coincidently  developing cooperative ITS FOTs. These partnerships are developed to as far as possible harmonise FOT results assessment methodologies and supporting tools enabling a comparison and common exploitation of the projects’ results.

For this purpose, COMeSafety2 support action develops and manages an exchange platform with the support of FOT-NET 2 enabling the storage of results synthesis in formats understandable by all sharing partners.

For this exchange purpose, COMeSafety2 develops in cooperation with FOT-NET 2 the methodologies and data structures necessary to collect information synthesis related to Cooperative ITS FOT. In a second step, also the methodologies to be used to compare and exploit the FOT results by the various stakeholders of the partner’ regions contributing to this exchange activity are shared.
