Report on Gap Analysis - research on cooperative systems:
Identification and assessment of open research questions. This deliverable will include:

• Inventory of current and recent cooperative system R&D projects, and their expected results;
  
• Survey of stakeholders and review of available sources to identify R&D requirements;
  
• Analysis of gaps between requirements and expected results.

First concept for a multimodal ITS framework architecture:
European-wide approach for the definition of a multimodal ITS architecture. This deliverable will include:

• Review of current cooperative ITS architecture models;
  
• Requirements and options for a multimodal cooperative ITS framework architecture;
• Results of stakeholder consultation;
  
• First concept for multimodal cooperative ITS framework architecture.

Communication System Architecture Update:
Update of the European ITS Communication System Architecture based on new developments, especially findings in the FOTs. This deliverable will include:

• Review of developments in R&D and pilot projects, standardization, technology advances since last version of communication system architecture document;
  
• Updated communication system architecture requirements (due to above review, need to include multimodal entities etc.);
  
• Proposal for updated communication system architecture, for stakeholder consultation. 

Update Report Gap Analysis - research on cooperative systems:
This deliverable will include:

• Review of relevant developments since D3.1;
• Updated gap analysis following review and stakeholder consultation;
• Final recommendations for Research Agenda for Cooperative Safety and Mobility R&D

European ITS architecture:
This deliverable will include:

• Requirements for cooperative ITS architecture;
• Final concept for multimodal cooperative ITS architecture;
• Recommendations for use and promotion of common European Cooperative ITS Architecture
